Develop abilities for progressive ear training, more advanced dictation/transcription, and aural recognition with the help of an expert instructor. Cathleen has been dancing all her life & already accomplished a bunch of amazing things while studying at PB. She toured with Kanye West as part of his creative team and is a DJ and classically trained pianist.

If you decide to purchase equipment for your own home studio, we will be happy to help you arrange student discounts from our leading industry partners including Apple, Ableton, Pioneer, Native Instruments, Serato, Izotope, Waves, and more.
For each 10-week course in musicianship, piano, guitar, or bass, classes normally meet once per week for 2 hours on a weekday in one of the following timeslots:
Class schedules are confirmed and released two weeks prior to the start of each quarter. Please call (323) 594-8740 for the most up-to-date information on scheduling and class availability. Our facilities are also open for student use from six to seven days a week, giving you valuable time in the studio to practice your musicianship or instrumental exercises and reinforce your new skills outside of class sessions.

Yes. Classes are usually available in the evening and on weekends, and we will be happy to arrange a class schedule that works around your other professional commitments. International students have different options for attending pointblank classes depending on their country of origin. These include the B2 visitor visa, the ESTA visa waiver program, and more. We do not offer F or M student visas at this time.
