This course combines both Complete DJ Part 1 & 2 and will suit anyone looking to go from zero to DJ hero all within 6 months. You will be following in the footsteps of our alumni by learning cover a wide range of DJ techniques, from the essential fundamentals including beat matching, EQ-ing, and harmonic mixing through to more creative techniques including acapella mixing, effects, scratching, building your brand and much more. You will learn how to record, edit and produce professional-sounding mixes and develop skills that will enhance your DJ sets and give you the edge over the competition, book gigs with confidence and begin to work the DJ circuit. Our studios are located in Shoreditch - a global hub of London music venues and bars - and include state-of-the-art technology and a Pioneer DJ sponsored studio. Class sizes are small so you receive plenty of 1-2-1 support, each student has their own set up in class, and all music styles are welcome.

With monthly gigs at Ministry of Sound, annual competitions with Elrow, and spots at fabric and other top London clubs, we provide the perfect platform to propel your career, gain experience, and expand your network. Our students regularly perform at iconic venues and win prestigious competitions, including FLORENTIA, who won the Elrow competition and now DJs worldwide. Darren Henry, a.k.a Quest, is a pioneer of the UK Dubstep sound since its inception back in the early 2000s, with releases on top tier labels including Deep Medi Music and Dub Police.
Aka Mr Dex. DJ'd with Ghostface & Raekwon (Wu-Tang), Omar, Estelle, Sway, Scratch Perverts and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Hosts The DeX Files weekly on itch.fm/live. Member of ‘A Bunch of Deckheads’ DJ agency.
Shorty has a long history in radio, youth work and live events. Currently a resident DJ at the world famous cHip sHop in Brixton, and co-founder of More Than Music (MTM) who focus on youth work with at-risk and vulnerable young people.
J-Fresh is a BBC Radio 1Xtra mix resident, Ministry of Sound music curator, DJ, broadcaster and producer with support from BBC Radio 1, Mixmag, GRM Daily & Spotify Editorials.
Resident DJ for Goldie's Metalheadz label, presenter at 1Xtra, Radio 1 & Ministry of Sound. Recorded/remixed for Goldie, Roni Size, Guy Called Gerald, Trey Songz, Chipmunk, Nas & Damian Marley.

Spoony is a legend in UK dance music having brought garage to the masses in 2000 as part of the Dreem Team. He's since gone on to become a staple on Five Live but proved he's always learning by enrolling at PB!

Depending on your programme, certain hardware and software will be essential throughout your studies. To help with your independent learning and assessment work, you will need to have access to this equipment outside of the campus. However, if you are able to attend classes on campus, this equipment will be available to use either in class or by booking practice time. Note that you have access to our facilities 7 days a week during term time for the length of your course (excluding scheduled breaks). Please visit this page which lists the hardware and software you are required to own for each programme. Where you may choose to study online (distance learning), this equipment will be essential to your studies and assignment work. If for any reason you cannot afford to purchase an essential item, you may be eligible for financial support via the hardship fund. More information about this can be found here. This course takes place one evening per week: Tuesdays in term 1 and Mondays in term 2, both from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
