Overview

Point Blank Music School is an Ableton Certified Training Centre and we've been teaching Ableton live for over 15 years. This course is developed and delivered by our Ableton certified lecturers, ensuring our students receive the best cutting edge training. The Ableton Live Weekend - Level 1 is a two-day intensive course that will provide you with all the necessary skills you need to create your own tracks from start to finish. If you want to learn Ableton Live in a short space of time, then this is the course you’ve been looking for. Walk through the famous Point Blank doors and study in our state-of the-art studios in Shoreditch, London. This course will get you started with an introduction to Ableton Live and how to set up. You will then move onto more advanced topics such as drum looping, the use of effects and controllers, working with audio, equalisation, compression, mixing and more. You’ll be joining a global alumni community with some of the biggest names in music, engaging with the wider Point Blank community.

Ricky Vianello Introduction to Production Ableton

FAQS

Do I need to buy software & equipment to take the course?

Depending on your programme, certain hardware and software will be essential throughout your studies. To help with your independent learning and assessment work, you will need to have access to this equipment outside of the campus. However, if you are able to attend classes on campus, this equipment will be available to use either in class or by booking practice time. Note that you have access to our facilities 7 days a week during term time for the length of your course (excluding scheduled breaks). Please visit this page which lists the hardware and software you are required to own for each programme. Where you may choose to study online (distance learning), this equipment will be essential to your studies and assignment work. If for any reason you cannot afford to purchase an essential item, you may be eligible for financial support via the hardship fund. More information about this can be found here. What is my timetable?

Weekend courses take place on Saturday and Sunday. Each Saturday and Sunday class starts at 11am and ends at 6pm.
