Master musicianship like the pros
This program bundles together both levels of Point Blank’s unique Musicianship for Producers course series. All of the most important aspects of musicianship necessary to produce modern music are covered, including ear training, sight-reading, rhythm training, transcription, and diatonic harmony. The program is taught by professional musicians with extensive real-world industry experience. The Musicianship for Producers Award is designed to develop a strong understanding of the building blocks of music, equip students with a basic range of effective musicianship skills, and instill confidence and facility in production, composition, songwriting, and critical listening. Students will learn a range of specialist techniques which will help them further develop their skills as well-rounded musicians, thus widening the scope for work opportunities within the music industry. In addition to the instructional time, students may access our fully-furnished studios for practice outside of class hours.
